The story of how two chairs in Tropicana Avenue turned into a two-branch barbershop with a five-star habit.
Ace Of Fades opened its doors at Tropicana Avenue, Petaling Jaya in 2021 — a compact shop with big speakers, sharper clippers and a name that made a promise. The early days were simple: cut well, charge fair, remember your regulars' guard numbers.
Word did the marketing for us. Office workers came on lunch breaks, dads brought their sons, students discovered a barbershop that didn't treat a budget cut like a lesser cut. By 2026 the waiting bench was full more often than not, so we dealt our second hand: a new branch at Tropicana Metropark, Subang Jaya.

Before Ace Of Fades, getting a haircut around here meant picking a side: premium grooming lounges with premium invoices, or ten-minute corner shops where every head got the same cut. We started this shop because we believed the middle shouldn't be empty — that barbershop craft and everyday prices belong in the same chair.
To be the neighbourhood's most trusted name in men's grooming — the shop people recommend without being asked, in every community we set up our chairs.
Everything in this shop flows from one rule: the cut is finished when it's right, not when the clock says so. We consult before we clip, we check the blend before you check the mirror, and we'd rather run five minutes over than let you walk out at 95%.
The clippers are warm and the chair is empty. Grab a slot before someone else does.
